EMG - Electromyogram Electromyography (EMG) is an electrodiagnostic medicine technique for evaluating and recording the electrical activity produced by skeletal muscles. EMG is performed using an instrument called an electromyograph to produce a record called an electromyogram. An electromyograph detects the electric potential generated by muscle cells when these cells are electrically or neurologically activated. The signals can be analyzed to detect medical abnormalities, activation level, or recruitment order, or to analyze the biomechanics of human or animal movement. In Computer Science, EMG is also used as middleware in gesture recognition towards allowing the input of physical action to a computer as a form of Human-computer interaction.

ENT - Ear Nose Throat ENT physician: A medical specialist who is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the head and neck, including particularly the ears, nose, and throat. ENT doctors are also called otolaryngologists.

EPFO - Employee Provident Fund Organization The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation is an organization tasked to assist the Central Board of Trustees, Employees' Provident Fund a statutory body formed by the Employees' Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 and is under the administrative control of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. EPFO assists the Central Board in administering a compulsory contributory Provident Fund Scheme, a Pension Scheme and an Insurance Scheme for the workforce engaged in the organized sector in India. It is also the nodal agency for implementing Bilateral Social Security Agreements with other countries on a reciprocal basis. The schemes cover Indian workers as well as International workers (for countries with which bilateral agreements have been signed. As of now 19 Social Security Agreements are operational). The EPFO's apex decision making body is the Centrald of Trustees (CBT).

ESI - Employee's State Insurance ESI stands for Employees' State Insurance. It is a health insurance scheme for Indian workers to provide medical and cash benefits to them. It is managed by Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC). ESIC is an autonomous corporation under Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India.

The fund is managed by the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) according to rules and regulations stipulated in the ESI Act 1948. EWS - Economically Weaker Section Economically Weaker Section (EWS) in India is a subcategory of people belonging to the General Category having an annual family income less than ₹8 lakhs.Further they may belong to any reserved category such as SC/ST/OBC (central list). If a candidate who doesn't fall under castes recognised as SC/ST/OBC by the Govt. of India & doesn't avail any form of reservations (except horizontal reservations like ExS, PwD, etc.) & his/her annual family income is above the prescribed limit of ₹8 lakhs by Government of India (or as prescribed by state govt in the respective states), then he/she will be recognised as a candidate from UR category and not from EWS category.  

ELSS - Equity-linked Saving Scheme Equity Linked Savings Scheme, popularly known as ELSS are close-ended, lock-in period of 3 years diversified equity schemes offered by mutual funds in India. They offer tax benefits under the new Section 80C of Income Tax Act 1961. ELSS can be invested using both SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) and lump sums investment options. There is a 3 years lock-in period, and thus has better Liquidity compared to other options like NSC and Public Provident Fund.
